Duck Republik is looking for a Customer Support Specialist for a Trendy International Student Residence.

Location: Riga, Latvia

Duck Republik - is a unique student hotel and accommodation community for international students and interns in modern and cosy student hotels, was born in 2020 out of the desire to offer what was missing in the market – affordable high-quality student housing and community lifestyle living. Currently company has a one student hotel in Riga.

As any ambitious young republic, we plan to conquer more locations!

What will you have to do?

  • Day-to-day communication with new customers, answering their questions and leading them through formalities in order to make booking happen 
  • Manage relationships with current customers, giving support and answers on their stay-related questions. Making all the best for a positive experience of each. 
  • Updating database of customers, controlling payments and debts, preparing new contracts and extensions. 
  • Update company occupancy status and forecast 
  • Managing clients in 4 cities in the Baltics, with over 500 bed places
  • Serving customers by providing product and service information and resolving product and service problems in a timely and accurate way.
  • Adjusting client database in Scoro platform (agreements, invoicing, etc.)
  • Issuing invoices and following up on payment history
  • Managing cash machine reports and other reports for accounting department
  • Taking part in team meetings and brainstorming
  • Managing maintenance and following up with clients to ensure their technical issues are resolved
  • Gather customer feedback and share with our Product, Sales and Marketing teams

What are we looking for?

  • Young and motivated 
  • Higher educated
  • Proficient English and Latvian language skills, both written and orally, Russian will be considered as advantage
  • We'll consider previous experience in hospitality or customer care field an advantage
  • Proactive problem solution and excellent communication skills
  • Legal permit to work in Latvia (in case of foreigners).  Experience as a Customer Support Specialist or similar CS role
  • Familiarity with our industry is a plus
  • Experience using help desk software and remote support tools
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • Multi-tasking abilities
  • Initiative, common sense, independent judgment, quick thinking
  • Patience when handling tough cases
  • Ability and willingness to work with customers from around the world
